New offering from eLeDia.academy: Teaching Basics

Designing digital learning content with pedagogical principles in mind leads to better learning outcomes for every target audience. That is why it is worthwhile for anyone who creates learning content to familiarize themselves with the fundamentals of pedagogy, various methods, and, ultimately, practical implementation. With our training program—Pedagogy Basics—we aim to support you in exactly that.

The online training course is designed to be practical and consists of three two-hour modules that build on one another. If needed, you will be given access to a Moodle practice system during the webinar so you can immediately apply what you’ve learned.

These are the main focuses of the individual modules:

Module 1 – From Target Audience to Learning Objective

  • Fundamentals of Didactics and Its Distinction from Pedagogy
  • Introduction to Bloom's Taxonomy
  • Defining learning objectives tailored to specific target groups
  • Instructional Principles for Moodle Courses

Module 2 – Practical Concepts

  • Introduction to Key Instructional Models
  • Applying pedagogical concepts to Moodle
  • Developing Your Own Teaching Ideas
  • Reflection on and discussion of practical examples

Module 3 – Using Activities in Teaching

  • Practical Implementation of Instructional Concepts in Moodle
  • Using Moodle Activities
  • Course design tailored to specific target groups
  • Development and feedback on a custom module design

Once you have completed all three modules, you will be familiar with various instructional concepts that you can apply to Moodle activities. This will enable you to create even more engaging, effective, and learner-centered learning experiences.

You can complete the modules individually or as a bundle in a single day. You can find more information here:
