The eLeDia.summit is a free online event focused on digital accessibility: concise presentations, practical tools, and best practices for inclusive learning and teaching.

On May 21, in celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we are offering a full day of free workshops on accessibility in digital learning. Here you can find out who our partners are at the eLeDia.summit and what you can learn in each workshop.

Brickfield Education Labs focuses on developing tools and resources related to accessible learning. At the eledia.summit, they will present their tool for conducting accessibility checks in Moodle. Once registered, it can be easily integrated into an existing Moodle system. With just a few clicks, instructors can use it to check their courses for accessibility and make the necessary revisions.

Pfennigparade is a nonprofit foundation whose primary goals are inclusion and social participation for people with disabilities. At the eLeDia.summit, Pfennigparade will demonstrate how to make documents accessible and what you need to keep in mind when doing so.

ReadSpeaker offers text-to-speech software for digital learning. With ReadSpeaker, you can generate audio files from text content in any learning management system and embed them in your courses. At the eLeDia.summit, you’ll learn about ReadSpeaker’s full range of features and discover how text-to-speech functions can help you make your learning content accessible and engaging.
