In order to use your own fonts in Moodle, a customized theme is required. The web fonts are integrated directly into this theme. This not only keeps your design unique, but also keeps you on the safe side in terms of data protection.

Which web fonts can I use?

Over the last few weeks, we have been doing intensive research for customers and have come to the conclusion that There is a huge selection of freely available web fonts, for example via Google Fonts. These can be integrated directly into Moodle without any problems. Commercial fonts, on the other hand, often require a license and are usually integrated via links. Caution is advised here! Retrieving fonts from external servers can entail data protection risks. Secure integration is therefore essential in order to avoid possible warnings
