Digital learning content designed with accessibility in mind not only gives people with disabilities the opportunity to access all learning materials; at the same time, accessible e-learning benefits all learners.
For example, a text-to-speech feature is beneficial for people who prefer auditory learning, while also providing access to educational content for those with reading difficulties or visual impairments. Accessible documents also enhance the learning experience for people with and without disabilities alike.
The good news is: Moodle meets the formal criteria for accessibility and has been recertified according to the international WCAG 2.2 AA standard following an external audit. If you’d like to learn how to implement accessibility in your Moodle, the eLeDia.summit is just the thing for you. In 6 live sessions, you’ll learn about various tools you can use to make your Moodle more accessible right away.
